Participation Rules

1. Male, female and mixed choirs as well as vocal groups, folksong choirs, gospel and spiritual choirs, youth choirs and children choirs with a minimum of 12 members may enter. 80% of choir members must be amateurs, except the conductor, accompanists and instrumentalists, who may be professionals.

2. When registering, the following documentation must be produced:

a. A short biography of the choir and the choirmaster in English (max. 1 page/ word file)

b. A photo of the choir (not mandatory for preliminaries but must be submitted before semifinals)

Please note that these documents will not be returned.

3. Registration fee or Participation fee

a. Registration fee of $20 for each choir / group.

This fee will be refunded only if the choir will not be admitted by the Artistic Director and will not be returned in case of renunciation by the choir itself.

4. Registration deadline: October 17th, 2008 (posting date)

- Registration must be sent by 17th October 2008 complete with registration fee, short biography of the choir and its director, a photo of the choir.
